Grambling Prevails for a 10-9 Celebration Bowl Win.

ATLANTA, GA – The first bowl game of the season was a defensive battle decided by a blocked field goal.
Grambling running back Martez Carter rushed for 109 yards and the team’s only touchdown.
“When it’s all said and done, you’ve got to respect Grambling’s running game. “I’m just the home-run hitter.”
Carter was voted the offensive player of the game and the Tigers were named HBCU National Champions as a
result of the victory.
