SOUTH Defeats NORTH with a Five-touchdown Air Attack at 2018 Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. – Three quarterbacks on the SOUTH team threw for a combined 425 yards and five touchdowns to defeat the NORTH 45-16 at the annual Senior Bowl before 29,600 fans.

With the SOUTH leading 18-3 at the half, Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen got hot and threw two quick touchdown passes for the NORTH to cut the SOUTH lead to two points 18-16 in the third quarter. But Allen’s performance was no match for Richmond Spiders quarterback Kyle Lauletta effort who threw two touchdown passes for the SOUTH in the third quarter. Later, Lauletta who was named the game’s MVP threw another touchdown in the fourth quarter.

SOUTH – Co-MVPs
D.J. Chark, Wide Receiver LSU – Five receptions for 160 yards, one touchddown and one run for nine yards.
Rashaad Penny, Running Back San Diego State University – Ran for 64 yards on nine carries for a 7.1 average per run. One reception for 73 yards.

NORTH
Josh Allen, Wyoming University – Threw for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
